Sled Scars, Gasworks Park, Seattle

This is a follow-up to yesterday's upload taken n the first snowy weekend in Seattle in winter '08. After spending a while dodging sleds at the bottom of the hill for a while, I decided it was safer to venture up the hill to take a look down.

Gasworks park has one prominent hill with several meandering paths working their way up. I'm not much of an 'abstract' kind of guy, but I liked this perspective looking down the hill at all the criss-crossing paths combined with the sled marks particularly on the far hill. There really wasn't much snow on the ground so the grass really showed through. As with my other shot here I had to wait for quite a while to take a photo without anyone in it. While many people would have likely focused on all the kids playing and having fun at the park, this was where I turned my focus. Rest assured there are several people just out of frame all up and down the path.
