Sunset Colors, Shi-Shi Beach, Olympic National Park

This is the third in a sequence of images taken during sunset at Shi-Shi Beach this past Saturday evening. This isn't my favorite framing of all the images I took, but it best captures the fullest extend of the color that emerged during the sunset. In particular, the bright orange band at the top of the frame and it's reflection added a lot color not present before or after this.

I actually struggle a little with the color here because it seems so over-the-top saturated. This is essentially the out-of-camera JPG, though I don't specifically recall what camera-control settings were used. I once again blended in two additional exposures, though at only 10% opacity they had only a small-impact. Regardless, it was just a treat to have the sunset develop some nice color, and I'm happy to have captured it here.
